The ritual involved was long and complicated, but Yugi, being the horny gamer he was, had no problem putting in the time and effort to draw all the complicated seals that the Eronomicon called upon him to make, and when he was done, the promised results were achieved; a window into the past opened, allowing him to look back in time at any place or person he so wished.
