So for the rest of the afternoon Brooke payed extra close attention to you and danced and played with you and even got out some of her old baby toys for you to amuse yourself with. If you had been by yourself all of this would have just been mind numbingly dull but with Brooke constantly at your side being so enthusiastic and so cute with her funny voices and expressions you actually found yourself having a whole lot of fun. But despite the fun you were ready to go back to being yourself and having full control of your bowels and other assorted bodily functions, you were constantly looking at clocks and out the window wondering when Erica would arrive finally. Eventually amidst an imaginary tea party where Brooke seemed more into it than you, her cell phone went off and she answered.
"Hi Erica, are you ready to pick up little Melody?" About time. You thought.
"Oh you can't yet?" WHAT?!
"Oh you want me to hold the phone to Melody? That's so cute. I'll do that." Erica then put the phone close to your ear, "Your mommy wants to talk to you little angel."
You try to say "What the hell is going on?" to Erica but of course it comers out a bunch of gibberish. But Erica seemed to get the gist and whispered to you, "I know you don't like hearing that, but Melody has woken up and is not being cooperative. The family is also home and I don't want to leave your body alone with Melody in such a mood. Now if you really want out of there I can send Carmen and Stacy over there and leave you in their care until Melody calms down, but I assumed you'd rather stay with Brooke. I'll tell you what, you can kinda make vowel sounds right? Say ah if you can."
"Ah ah ah."
"Good. Now say 'ooo' again if you want to stay with Brooke and say "ah" if you want Carmen and Stacy to bring you home and take care of you."
You had to think about it for a second, it would be nice to stay with Brooke for a little longer but you want to be as close to your body and the bowl so you can swap back as soon as possible. Then again you've seen Carmen and Stacy take care of Melody and they aren't exactly as...careful with Melody as Brooke is. "I need an answer now John."
