"Ooo" *I'm good here for now*

"ooh. Ooh." You hope she understands. "Ooh."

"Okay, I understand. Guess being my baby girl isn't as bad as you thought. Guess Brooke must be real good. Good. Gives me time to work things out with John, I mean Bri. Now, give me back to Brooke."

You hear only half the conversation, but you know it is your sister. . . mother. . . asking for another few hours of time. Something about ten. Brooke hangs up.

"I guess we have more time. Mommie won't be here until 10:30. She said you have jammies in your bag. We have a bit of time before it's time for bath."

You giggle when you hear her say bath, but you don't know why.

"Yes, bath."

You play for awhile. She is really good, never ignoring you for a moment.
