For the next few hours you walk around the massive public halls and ceremony rooms collecting the stray silver and gold coins left by patrons in alters, fountains and collection plates. Most of the currency was stamped with the Orzhov mark, but every now and then a few global coins appeared mixed into the tiny piles as well. Everyone knew that the Orzhov coins were worth twice as much as normal money... though they could only be spent at official guild locations and businesses.
The white chest in your hands grew heavier every minute until you were forced to sit it down as you retrieved the last of the offerings from the dangling sky alters affixed to the roof of the cathedral. The loot left in these places tended to be almost nothing as only flying or levitating visitors could leave coins in them, but today had a decent haul and you knew that missing even a single silver piece would delay your promotion by another week at the least.
When you were finally done you headed past a trio of ghostly aristocrats to the vault as instructed and stored the days bounty inside. You had a bit of sweat running down your forehead from the work, yet didn't feel quite as tired as you had the previous few days. Hopefully, your efforts would pay off before you got too use to so much exercise.
