As you walk into Maddy's room you see your younger sister crying. "What's the matter Maddy?" you ask in the most motherly way possible..

"Tyler just called and said he broke up with me! My life is ruined!" Maddy says as she goes in for a hug and cries on your shoulder.

This is what was so important? You roll your eyes. What am I even supposed to say? "There there everything will be okay."

"No everything will not be okay Mom! My life is ruined, don't you have any advice? I was dumped and now Tiffany is making telling the whole school. I'm going to be the laughing stock of the school tomorrow!"
