Bad Cars and Super Girls

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!!!!! HONK! HONK! HONK!

“Get out of the fucking way! Are you blind?!” you screamed, laying on the horn as some bitch almost ran in front of your car as you tried pulling into one of the only parking spaces that you’d managed to find in the packed lot of this convention. The woman had wavy brown hair and seemed attractive (as far as you could tell from behind) but wasn’t even cosplaying or carrying a camera with them! Another fucking casual at the con getting in…your…way? “Holy shit…that’s Sasha Calle. I just yelled at the new Supergirl,” you whined as the woman spun around with a raised eyebrow and look of absolute disgust on her face. You started trying to roll down your window to apologize when you saw her reaching into her pocket. Oh god! If she pulled out a phone and made a post about this, your social life was over! The phone came out as you tried to speak up, “W-Wait! Ms. Calle! S-Sasha! Please, I’m a big fan!”

That line for a laugh from her. Sasha held her phone up and almost cheered, “Not for long, fucker!” There was a bright flash of light from what you thought was her phone’s camera. You were wrong. VERY wrong.

THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~

Still blinded by the phenomenally bright flash from Sasha’s phone, you were sent into a panic as a quake ran through the ground, shaking your car so much it was bouncing on the springs! Operating with zero visibility, you tried to throw the car into reverse and slammed on the pedal when the your vision began to grow darker…then the second quake came….

THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

This tremor was even more powerful than the first as you thought the car’s axel might break. You felt your vehicle lurch backwards only for the airbag to go off in your face as you rear-ended something. Something solid. Something that definitely wasn’t behind you just a moment before….

“UH, UH, UH…YOU’RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE HOTWHEELS…” a voice thundered around you. A voice you recognized from interviews and trailers. A voice that made you piss yourself as you realized who it belong to. The voice of Supergirl. Sasha’s voice. Your vision was slowly coming back to you. First, you saw the broken steering wheel, the deflating airbag, the miraculously uncracked windshield. The hood of your car was undamaged, but you didn’t seem to be in the parking lot anymore…. although the ground under your car was still black like asphalt, it was much hillier with huge potholes and craters. For the third time today, you’d made a mistake. You were still in the parking lot in your car. As your vision finally returned to normal, you were quickly convinced that you’d hit your head at some point and were dreaming. You must have been…what else could explain the white, rough wall of rubber in front of you…and the titanic, well-manicured fingers reaching for you from above. Sasha had said something about ‘Hotwheels’ in her booming voice. You got the cruel joke. The front of your car was lifted off the ground by the actress’ fingers as she looked at the ‘toy’ car she’d stepped behind to stop it from ‘rolling’ away. Supergirl smiled down at you…and the toy-sized car you now sat in at her feet.
