Sneak into the big tent.

You head towards the circus, waddling slightly due to the trousers and shoes. But you make decent enough time considering. The small children who wanted you to stop and do balloon animals for them were an annoyance but you were here now. You thought that maybe you had got really drunk and stole a clown costume last night, it didn't seem likely but you couldn't think of anything else that made any sense.
Not remembering anything of last night you quickly have to make a decision. There are people walking about between trailers, talking, moving things, you presume for another show tonight, or maybe even this after noon. Now right now nobody was giving another clown a single glance.
You could stop someone and ask for help, which would be easier or try to figure this out on your own. If you did steal this costume for some drunken reason you may have annoyed some people and they not be too happy with you waddling back in.
