When Paul put in the VHS he was shocked to find out what was on it. It looked like a whole vintage film about gainers, of course he found it pretty hot but at the same time he'd never told anyone before about his fetish! How could someone have known? After thinking about all the possibilities in his head for awhile he caught glimpse of the time, he had to head out to his job.
His first our of cashiering was just the usual, he was bored and waiting around to go home like always. But about a third of the way in he had a particular customer while scanning his line he saw a familiar face, and soon enough Simon walked up to his register! He didn't know what to say, but Paul savored the interaction while giving small talk about school. And then Simon said something that caught him off gaurd, "I'm sure I'll hear from you later, Paul". While he quickly handed Paul his number and left before Paul could answer. After Paul got out he drove home all while thinking about Simon.
Should he call? Text? He decided that his crush just handed him his number and left it ambiguous he might as well follow up! So he called Simon,
"Hey it's Simon who's this?", He answered.
"Hi, Simon it's Paul, you handed me your number while I was at work"
"Oh Paul, awesome I'm glad you called, do you wanna hang out?"
"Uh oh yeah sure!! When did you want to hang out?"
"You want to meet me at Kingsize At 7 tonight for dinner?"
"Definitely I'd love to!!"
And just like that Simon hung up. Paul didn't know what to think... Did Simon just ask him on a date? And at the local buffet as well? He didn't know, all he was sure of was that he had to go.
He sat around excited in his apartment, looking up Kingsize's menu, choosing his outfit, wondering what Simon'll be wearing.. this was really happening, he couldn't believe it. It was finally time and he headed out, when Paul got to Kingsize he saw:
