There was a puzzled look on Brandon's face as he wheeled himself across campus. The strangest thing had just transpired and he was still trying to process it. He had been picking some things up from a conveinence store near campus when he had encountered a strange old woman. Despite being in a wheelchair, he had held the door for her as she had her hands full with a bag of purchases. It wasn't much of a challenge for him since he had a strong upper body, but the woman had expressed extreme gratitude to him. The strange part was what happened next. After thanking Brandon, the woman said that she had granted him the ability to swap any traits between two people before going on her way. She hadn't even stopped when Brandon asked her what she was talking about that.
Ever since that moment, Brandon had felt strange. For some reason, it felt like what the woman had said was true. He knew it had to be impossible, but there was some part of him that felt that it wasn't. The closer he got to his residence hall, the more Brandon got the feeling the power was real. Eventually he couldn't take it any longer and he decided to make a swap to test it out.
There's only one way to find out, Brandon thought as he focused on a pair of students, an average looking dark haired guy with glasses and a cute blonde girl who were obviously dating. Imagining swapping their hair, Brandon was shocked to see it happen! The girl's long blonde hair retreated into her scalp and grew darker in color, while the guy's hair grew out and lightened to blonde! It worked! He couldn't believe it. He quickly swapped them back and then thought about what to do next. He could potentially use this power to be able to walk again, but, at the same time, he would be leaving someone trapped in his predicament. Did he want to do that? He needed to give it some more thought.
