Kiba (Switching to third person here) had just reached the crowd when a German Shepherd dove from behind and gripped one of his legs. As Kiba fell he covered his face to minimize the damage. After falling on the cold hard street he felt a set of arms lift him up and put him back on his feet. Shepherd officers stood on either side of him as they dragged him back to Deluma. Calming himself for a moment, Kiba waited for the officers holding him to loosen their grip. After a few seconds of good behavior they did just that, at which point Kiba bolted forward again. He escaped the grip of one of the officers, but the other was able to keep a hold on his arm. With his free arm, Kiba managed to land a hit right on the snout of the canine that still had him. Unfortunately though it only served to make the anthro angry. Before he knew what was happening Kiba was thrust to the ground on his knees and felt a sharp pain strike the back of his head before his vision became blurry and eventually faded into a black abyss. As he opened his eyes the remained glossed over and unfocused. His mouth hung partway open muttering groans of confusion and
The sound of chains clattering nearby came to Kiba as he resurfaced from the darkness to consciousness. As he opened his eyes the remained glossed over and unfocused. His mouth hung partway open muttering groans of confusion. The pain in the back of his head had dulled, but it was still there. His vision was still hazy and his memories were erratic, incomplete and out of order as were his thoughts. As he instinctively moved a hand to place on his aching head he found himself unable as he felt his arm jerk to a stop and heard a metallic clang.
"Wha-?" He muttered as he looked down at his hands to find that his wrists had been shackled and he was chained to the floor. His memories then began flooding back to him all at once. Both relevant and irrelevant memories washed through the human's mind like a tidal wave. His eyes refocused themselves as his pupils dilated, his slack hands balled into fists as they pulled at the chains anchoring him in place. He tried to rise to his feet but found himself unable as he discovered that the chains holding him only granted him enough slack to allow him to stand partway before they went taught and rendered him unable to move in any direction other than down. "No! No! No!" Kiba shouted "This cannot be happening!" He yanked and twisted in his chains. He tried lunging forward, then launched himself backwards. He sat down to rest for a few seconds before trying to simply stand up and use his leg muscles to break the chains, but he quickly realized that even if it did work, he couldn't do it without breaking both of his wrists in the process. He twisted, jumped, lunged and writhed for half an hour before he fell into a sitting position panting and out of breath.
"Are you done yet?" A voice asked from somewhere in the room.
