This choice: Starfire sneezed, and sent him flying off the bed • Go Back...Chapter #5Silver Scarab & Good/Bad News.... by: Antimatter   Naruto clung onto the bridge of the giantess' nose with his entire body in excruciating pain. He couldn't even find the energy to talk. As soon as he saw where he had landed, the Uzumaki knew he had to get away from this giantess as soon as possible. He realised if he didn't get off, there was no telling what would happen. Thoughts of him getting squashed, eaten, or breathed in drifted into his head. Suddenly, the object he was standing on started to shift. He looked to the rest of the giant's face and he tried to push himself off, but the pain shot through his body every time he tried to move.
Soon the pain slowly began to fade. Naruto looked around. As he did so, he noticed something odd with his vision. He was seeing everything in a grayish-white tint. Pushing himself off where he had landed, Naruto noticed something black and silver covering his arms and lights emitting from his fingertips.
"What the heck is this!?" Naruto exclaimed, his voice having a strange, slight reverberation echo to it, but it was still recognizable as he began to look down he saw his entire body covered.
He was completely clad in some sort of a bug-themed armor that looked like a black segmented metal body suit with six silver ovals from the hips down the legs, and cyan-colored cold light coming from circles on the tips of the fingers, the "boots" of the armor had thick silver armor over the knees, calves/shins, soles, and toes of the body while leaving the heel and instep bare, there was a segmented silver oval at the bend of the forearm, silver shoulder armor, a series of silver plates of armor covering the chest and sternum with an M-shaped pattern on the front of it, more silver plates forming up along the half of the neck and collar bone, and a large silver beetle on the back, its legs forming over the sides and shoulders of the body. The mask of the armor was also metal, yet allowed the mouth to open and close at will, silver armor forming over the back of the head and along the length of the lower jaw, the eyes of the mask were covered by crimson red lenses, and large silver markings form around the eyes. While the suit seemed to produce a cyan-colored cold light from almost vent-like opening in the sides of the torso, holes on the beetle-like pack on his back.
[Horizon-affiliated techno-organic Scarab, designation: Khaji-Djo. Status: Online. Defensive combat matrix standing by.] A Voice said. Naruto jumped a little in surprise. However, as he landed back on the bridge of her nose, her face scrunched up in response and her head reared back slightly.
"Ah...ah..."
"Oh please don't-!" Naruto yelped.
"ACHOO!" the slumbering giantess sneezed without waking up, but sent Naruto flying and tumbling through the air.
[Enabling Flight Mode.] He heard the voice say as he felt a strange sensation on his back. On his back the suit that he was wearing quickly grew a pair of wings. The suit, sensing its host's inability to function properly after what had transpired, took temporary control and zoomed him up towards the ceiling.
As Naruto did so and his head and breathing calmed down, his vision was filled with strange, glowing yellow symbols. Images of a brain and heart appeared with lines and circles indicating their location on the giantess as Naruto looked at her fully for the first time.
She was cute in a little sister kind of way, and looked somewhat like a young version of his mom. The girl had light orange skin, long blood red hair, and toned body while being on the tall side. She wore a purple tank top, purple miniskirt, and purple thigh high boots with a silver metallic sole, a silver metallic belt, collar around her neck, and wrist protectors on her arms.
[Scanning: WARNING! Subject: Tamaranean. FORBIDDEN TO HARM!] The voice blared suddenly.
"What?! What the heck does that even mean?!"
[Database accessed: Horizon and Tamaraneans are long-standing allies. Many centuries ago, the Reach warred with the Tamaraneans. Opposing the war, a portion of the Reach split off, becoming known as the The Horizon. Many Horizon refugees were given shelter and aid by the Tamaraneans.]
"What?!" Naruto asked, more confused by the minute. "What is this suit? How did I get it? Where am I? What are this Horizon group you keep talking about? What are those Tamaranean things? How do I get back to the ground? WHAT IS GOING ON?! I don't understand!"
[Inquiries acknowledged. Detailed explanations required.] The voice said as Naruto felt himself starting to descend and land on the floor. As he did, Naruto stared at his hands as he landed. He couldn't believe he had just flown. He would have enjoyed it if there wasn't so much on his mind.
"What happened to me?"
[Answer: Unanchored teleportation resulted in current location. Horizon-affiliated techno-organic Scarab, designation: Khaji-Djo was applied to host to aid in exiting transport field and aiding host upon arrival at destination.]
"Wait. So...this suit thing...it's called "Khaji-Djo"? And it was put on me to help me when I was going through that tunnel after I made that mistake with dad's technique?" Naruto asked the voice.
[Affirmative.]
At that, Naruto sighe d as the relieving news. "Glad to know that. Next time, tell me that stuff first..." he said, then looked around his surroundings. A massive bedroom....
He couldn't believe it!
"Ok...so I zapped myself into the land of the giants. That's no good..." he muttered.
[Observation: Current surroundings indicate that present difference in scale of host is two inches tall in comparison.] The voice in his head said. Now that Naruto thought about it, it sounded kinda like his late "Older Sister" figure, Ryuzetsu...he guessed it was the voice of this Khaji-Djo suit....HOLD IT!
"TWO INCHES?! I'M THAT SMALL?!" Naruto yelped, horrified.
[Affirmative. Shall administration of aid to host be welcome?]
"...Yes...thanks, Khaji..." the blonde said. A way out would REALLY be welcome right now! He needed to think and figure out what to do with himself and this new armor that he was apparently attached to now!
Well, at least with this "Khaji-Djo" thing's help, he wouldn't be alone in figuring things out as long as nothing else went wrong.
But as if caused by those words being seen as a challenge by whatever forces he had seemingly gotten the attention of...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
