This choice: Cheesy Hickory Apple-Stuffed Mushroom • Go Back...Chapter #3The Cheesy Hickory Apple-Stuffed Mushroom by: Clide   Flinzi fancied herself many things - among them was "experimental chef." Thanks to her knowledge in biochemistry, she knew how different foods and flavors interacted not only with each other, but also with people who would consume those foods. She had tried to concoct a recipe for the new hit dish on the market, but always messed up one thing or another, due to her insistence to add as many flavors as she could.
As manic as she could be, however, Flinzi showed some restraint, and thus completed her first successful recipe - the Cheesy Hickory Apple-Stuff Mushroom, or C.H.A.S.M. for short.
"Yes, yes, YES!" Flinzi exclaimed. "Now that I have one recipe, it's only a matter of time before I make a whole MENU'S worth of delectable meals - the taste will be so addicting, my customers will practically be begging me for more, and with more customers, that means more coin for me! My name will be echoed throughout the annals of history as the greatest cook who ever lived!"
After she celebrated some, Flinzi smacked herself in the face a couple times - once with each hand - and calmed herself down. "Alright, Flinzi, focus - the light is at the end of this long tunnel at last. You just need to NOT screw this one up!" She turned to face her C.H.A.S.M., examining it. "Hmmmmm..." she pondered. "Well, it certainly looks good, but so did all the other ones... and those were all FAILURES! This is technically C.H.A.S.M. v27.0! I should... probably taste test this one, just in case. I do have the recipe if it turns out to be a success, so I can just make another one. And if it is good, then I'll be the first to know!"
Flinzi stopped and gave some thought to the idea, before deciding:   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
