"What do you have there, Jess?" curious, dad asked.

"It's a book I found in the couch." holding the book up, you replied. "Do you know anything about it?"

Dad sighed, seeing the title. "I had hoped you would not find out this way." worried, he said. "The truth of the matter is..." he looked around to see they are alone. "...I am a mad scientist and you had just found my book. Do not tell anyone of this as we are a very secretive group."

"I can imagine." thinking dad was joking, I said. "Do you and the other believers meet at Frankenstein castle for your conventions every year?"

Dad chuckled slightly. "I can see you don't believe me." amused, he said. "I guess a demonstration is in order." he grinned at you, adding, "James did not believe me either until I showed him."
