Permanent Pregnancy

Specifically, Emily could still transfer future pregnancies in and out of her, but the 30 fetuses currently in her womb were now in truly hers permanently. She can't transfer them back out of her, and she can't birth them.

Emily slowly awoke just as the sun started to rise. She would have liked to sleep a little longer, but her unborn had started kicking up a storm. They were hungry, and they were hungry NOW.

"Alright you guys, I'm up." Emily said. As she stretched as best she could, she looked to her side and saw the amulet on the floor. Frowning, she picked it up.

"Oh, guess it slipped." She said, taking a closer look at it. She then noticed the crack in the largest gem. "Oh, darn."

Just then, Emily heard the garage door open. Laura walked, carrying a table with a large amount of food on.

"I know, you're eating for 31 so this isn't much, but it's the best I could come up with on short notice." Laura said. "You've got that date later, so you might be able to eat more then."

"I hope." Emily replied. She then gave her titanic womb a pat. "These guys are going nuts in here. I'm starting to think my nickname should be "The Whale" instead of "The Amazon"." Both girls laughed at that.
