Before you could even make a decision on where to go. Two strong hands roughly grab you by your mid section and lift you up. Not knowing who has picked you up, you struggle as hard as you can to get out of their grip but proves useless. After the quick ascent you see the Mall logo on their uniform and the face of the 40 year old security guard that you were running away from just a couple of minutes ago. You were sure that you had a great head start, how did he get to me so fast?
Seeing your confused look, he finally spoke to you.
"You thought you could escape with all those jewels huh, well not on my watch. I know this mall like the palm of my hand and all the shortcuts. You had no chance at all shorty."
"Let me go you fat ape"
"Struggle all you want but you're coming to headquarters with me punk"
To ensure you don't escape, the guard holds you close to his body as he uses a free hand to radio in the other guards that you have been caught and is heading back to headquarters.
"Fuck what do I do? I can't let all my hard work go to waste!"
You take a look at your surroundings after making a turn to see a large water fountain in the center. You turn to your left and see a couple of kids running around and making wishes and on the otherside of the fountain a couple of mothers chatting with their strollers park right next to them. Then you look to your right and see some women walking towards the entrance of a baby store. Now you just have to wait for the perfect opportunity to make your move.
It's been a couple of minutes that you stopped struggling and the guard makes the mistake that you have given up, relaxing his grip on you. Noticing that this is your chance, you quickly slip your arm out and using all your strength, you punch the guard's throat as hard you can.
Too slow to react, the guard can't breathe momentarily and drops to his knees as he tries to recover. Fully free from his grip, adrenaline pumping through your veins. You only have seconds to decide where to escape.
