When you arrive at work the next day you head to Lexi's office to see what your assignment is. Before you get there however you find yourself being scooped up. You're brought up to the face of Hecate, who gives you a grin. "Hello partner." she says. "Partner?" you ask. She nods. "Lexi told me I'd be working with you today. She also said to try and find you before you came to her office. Something about things getting broken." You chuckle awkwardly. "So, what are we doing?" you ask.
"We're going to check out some suspicious activity." she answers. You look at her. "Wouldn't that be more of a job for the police? Hecate shakes her head. "This isn't a concern of the police." she says. "Its rumored that several people have disappeared in some woods. The police have looked into it, but couldn't turn up anything so they dropped it as a prank." You look up into her blue eyes nervously. "And we have to check it out?" She replies calmly. "Yup. We're going to see if we can find anything worth reporting."
Soon after the two of you are in Hecate's truck and heading for the forest. You don't know what to expect out of this. Part of wants to brush it off as a silly rumor, but part of you is actually nervous. It wouldn't be that far fetched for something supernatural to be going on. You work with giant monsters and you yourself are a horrible jinx. Anything's possible. When you arrive at the woods.....
