It was "Bring your Child to Work Day" and your mother had let you tag along. You were fifteen, so the novelty had worn off, but it was an excuse to get out of school for the day, and your mother wanted to motivate you to start looking for an after school job, so she was okay with it. So far, it had been pretty boring. You had sat in your mother's cubicle while she worked.
"Enjoying the day so far?" your mother laughed as she typed on her computer.
"Not really." you said as you glanced up from your phone.
"Well, sometimes fun stuff happens around here, though not very often."
A half hour later your mother's phone rang and she began having a very frantic conversation with the person on the other line.
"Yes, yes, I understand. I'll be right there." she said as she hung up.
"What's wrong?" you asked.
"I have to run out for a minute, they have the wrong slideshow at a meeting across town and I have the right one. I just have to drive it over. Try to keep yourself occupied til I get back." she said.
"Alright." you said.
She rushed out and you sat back. Eventually you got bored and stated walking around looking for stuff to do. You pass by the offices on the floor and your eyes are drawn to one of the desks sitting outside an office which is...
