Chapter #8

An unfortunate position

    by: ItsMe Author IconMail Icon
You pinched your arm hoping it would wake you up.
To your dismay, this isn't a dream. The micen behind you are no longer trying to hide behind each other. They stand and lean on each other attempting to hide from the sight of the leonas. You noticed you were at the very front of everyone, and there is no way to pry micen out of your way. You turned your back to them, facing the opening of the box, noticing you can't hear a micen struggle. "Who's turn is it?" You asked.
"Risa just went." a young man answered behind you. You closed your eyes tightly and your body tenses up as Risa gives the go ahead for Solace.
Solace bent her head down into clear view of the micen, causing everyone to shuffle back. She looked around, studying which micen is worthy enough to fill her belly, you gasp as her eyes lock on you. You shook your head, refusing to believe out of the dozen micen in the box, she picked you. "That one." She pointed to you, confirming your fears. You back away but the young man behind you kicked you away. Landing on your hands, you look up. Solace had a grin on her face as she reached in and protracted a claw.
She placed her claw on you back and guided you out the box. "Please don't!" You squealed. Solace ignored you as she inspected your physique. You didn't think you looked much different than other micen, it had to have been your fur to catch her attention. You curse having such luck. "You don't have to eat me..." you mumble. "What was that?" Solace asked. You repeated yourself but louder. She merely shrugged. "Sorry, but if I don't eat you, Risa won't think twice about picking you. Be glad I don't like staining my clothes with blood as much how good you taste."
You turn around. Risa has been looking at you with a small amount of envy. "60 seconds." she says. Your ears fall to the side as you frown. Solace isn't willing to lose the competition for you.
You twist around. "Solace. My name is Cassandra. I have a little brother at home, he needs me." You lied, "I came here because I thought you would make a colony with us, make it easier to get food for him." To your surprise, Solace was paying attention. She bent her head down, only a tails length away from your head. She whispered. "Liar."
You frowned just before Solace opened her mouth and clenched down just below your hips. Your face was planted against her wet tongue. The worst place you think you could beg is when half your body is in between teeth. You felt your heart beat loudly in your chest before it sank as you were pushed to the side of her mouth, your feet followed. Now your entire body is inside her closed maw. For the rest of the count-down she planned on tasting your body. You didn't make it easy for her as you struggled as much as possible,
Unfortunately, you didn't prevail. She moved your body down to the back of the mouth and with a loud gulp, you were swallowed. The esophagus nearly squeezed the life out of you, enough that you were almost relieved when you entered her belly. The micen she picked earlier is still in here, she was sobbing as the stomach walls smothered you both together in attempts to start the digestive process. The oxygen was probably used up. You can already feel light headed as warm acids began to show up under your feet. The next micen might not be lucky enough to pass out before the acids get to him.
