Looking down, you were definitely still wearing Zelda's dress, but since you had already been wearing it, that wasn't the shock. The shock came from the fact that the dress, which had before been readjusted to fit your body, had now returned it its original dimensions. Of course, the reason the clothes had returned to their original dimensions was because their original body was filling them. You now not only were living Zelda's life and wearing her clothes, but you also had her body. If the manual was right, you should also have her abilities in magic now, in exchange for your weapon skills. There was pretty much nothing of the original you left aside from your mind, which was affected a bit to allow you to smoothly live Zelda's life. You were a little worried about the possibility of loosing yourself and completely becoming Zelda. The manual did mention that aside from a few mental changes to help with the swaps, such as that you were currently experiencing from the life swap, but you weren't sure if you trusted it. In actuality, the manual was correct and you were in no danger of losing yourself in Zelda's personality unless you wanted to, but that didn't stop you from worrying.
"Okay! Let's go," Peach says as she takes your arm and practically drags you in the direction of the library. She always did strike you as very upbeat and enthusiastic. As she takes you along with you, you glance back at where Zelda was. There's no longer any evidence that she had once been Zelda, aside from the fact that you knew she was. You are only able to get a quick look of her before she goes into the gym, but she looks exactly like you now. Since she also thought she was you, she might as well be the real Link now. You would definitely be taking back some of her (or more accurately right now, his) features next time you saw him. But for now, Zelda had gone inside the gym, and you were stuck as Zelda, heading to the library with Peach to pick out a few books.
Once you were there, Peach tells you she's going to look for a new cookbook, and leaves you by yourself. When you reply to her as she leaves, it startles you a little that you have Zelda's voice, but you suppose her vocal chords came with the rest of her body. Not really being one for reading, slowly walk through the aisles, looking for something Zelda might like, since you pretty much are her now. It occurs to you that this could be a good time to head off and find Zelda, but Peach still had a view of the door. You could pick out a few books and then quickly take them back to your (Zelda's) room before Peach was done and then go find Zelda. Alternatively, you could accept that for the time being, you are Zelda, and try messing around with the remote for a bit to see if you can create some humorous results, or improve your situation. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
