You raise your arm to aim the remote at Peach and press the clothes swap button. You didn't really want to mess up Peach too badly, and you weren't sure you wanted to lose your wings yet. A clothes swap should get the desired reaction from Palutena anyway. In an instant, the swap is done. No lightshow or fanfare, it just happens. Peach is now walking down the hallway dressed in your tunic. She even has your sandals on her feet and your laurel on her head. It was amazing to see the change happen so instantly, and Peach treating her now outfit as if it was completely normal and she had been wearing it her whole life. It actually didn't look to bad on her.
As for you, however, you probably looked as ridiculous as you had hoped for. Just as Peach had received all your clothing in the swap, you had received all of her's. From the pink dress and heels, to the crown and large earrings, to the white gloves and silky underwear you could feel under the dress, it was certainly a very different experience to what you were used to wearing. You could even feel what you assumed to be makeup on your face. Looking at your back, you find that the dress has not only adjusted to fit your smaller male body, but it has also adjusted to allow your wings to come out the back. You let Peach go about her business, and go off to go find Palutena. Whereas you would have been running to find her before, somehow you knew exactly how fast you could walk in your new heels without hurting yourself or tripping. Not being able to walk in heels was the main issue you saw with taking Peach's clothes, but now that the remote had helped you out there you saw no real downside to keeping Peach's clothes for an indefinite period of time. Maybe you'd even keep it after the tournament when you went back to your own world, it was certainly comfortable enough.
After a while of walking around looking for Palutena, all the excitement from the remote starts to wear off and your exhaustion from your earlier flying starts to come back, and the heels certainly aren't helping. You figure there was no real rush, you'd see Palutena in a few hours at dinner time anyway, and if she could see through the changes, she'd come see you if she saw Peach. The thought of going back to your room to rest for a bit is looking very good right now. But you do still want to know the extent of the remote's powers of deception. You don't want to go making a complete mess of yourself with swaps only to have Palutena know about the swaps and scold you for messing everyone up. You end up deciding to...
