As for what you plan to swap, you decide to leave out Life Swap. It seems interesting, but it raises too many questions for you to test it out immediately. After all, you still didn't know if the remote would carry over to your possession after a Life Swap. For the same reason, you also leave out Clothes Swap and Head Swap, at least until you knew for certain whether the remote would stay with you. You also decide to leave out Relationship Swap, as having Lumas follow you around all the time would likely be awkward for further tests.
That just left Gender Swap and Body Swap as his main options. Gender Swap would be simple and would show immediate results as to whether or not the device actually worked, as well as providing an interesting perspective on an entire half of humanity you did not fully understand. The downside to that would be that all of your life beforehand would be fundamentally altered so that you would become female, and you didn't know if that also included things like relationships, memories, or personality. On the other hand, Body Swap would have much the same results, only that everyone would still see you as Robin, the male tactician from the Fire Emblem worlds.
