Katara couldn't believe what was going on here. There stood her brother Sokka dressed in a Kyoshi Warrior's uniform only blue and white with a silver metal made helmet that had a hole in the back to let his warrior's wolf tail out. His war paint was that of the Southern Water Tribe still, but there he stood with the Kyoshi Warriors telling her that he wasn't going home with her.
Katara said to Sokka with a pain in her chest, "Sokka, what do you mean that you won't come home with us?"
Sokka said to her, "Katara, as of a month ago the people of Kyoshi Island joined the Southern Water Tribe Island territories. I have decided to stay here as a representative of the water tribe mainland. So, long as the Kyoshi Island people are in the Water Tribe, I don't see why this can't be a home for me. Besides, the people here need to regain the customs they lost due to isolation from the war. And, I'm here with Suki, the love of my life and hopefully soon to be wife. You can still come and see me, but I refuse to leave these people. They need me."
Katara couldn't believe her ears, Suki smiled victoriously. She had an arm rest on Sokka as she leaned a tad on him with a smile. She had succeeded in making Sokka her boytoy, out of love of course. But, to hear him carry out her orders with such normal behavior was such a turn on. Oh, how she was going to love this version of Sokka.
Suki then looked to Sokka as she said to him, "Sokka could you go practice with Ty Lee while I talk with your sister?"
Sokka nodded as Ty Lee squealed at some time with the boy that was her cutie. Tae and Lie Ying then looked at Suki as she nodded and the pair smiled as they followed Sokka. The three walked around him in a triangular formation to the dojo.
Suki then walked over to Katara as she said to her, "Now, Katara what's this I hear about you and Aang splitting up? Is it true?"
Katara looked down as she still felt the pain of Aang's words of him deciding to take On Ji as his wife over her. She sometimes wished things could have gone back to when she, Zoraphina, Pinga, Palluqtuq and Notai shared Sokka's love and lust as practice for their future husbands or the future of being with Sokka. While other places of the world frowned on incest, in the Southern Water Tribe, it was okay if there was no pregnancy resulting from it. Often one would receive training from an older member of the tribe or sibling to know how to please their future mate. And at times that relationship still continued on after they were already married to their life mate.
Suki then said to her as she got right up to Katara's ear, "I could let you stay on the island to with Sokka."
