The main Laboratory is the biggest building in the city, and it sits at the outskirts of the city. So much so that only authorised persons enter the building unless being invited by the scientist to either be tested or given a grand tour. That’s the case when a 10 year old boy named Mike, was secretly invited to the Lab, where he’s about to be subjected with a new project they just finished making and ready for testing.
The youngster was so nervous about it, he was all alone in the waiting area, sitting down whilst wearing a special body suit which it says it helps him go along with him as much as possible without getting it ripped off from the super strong, fabric suit. Though he does have his own sneakers with him, which the scientist says it should be fine regardless.
Mike had been so nervous and worried the whole time since he was first called in days before. He feels that something’s bad or worse was about to happen, since he had no idea what their intentions are for, and why did they chose him in such a way. Whatever the case, he let’s out with a long sigh until the door open, seeing a lady coming in with a smile and approaching Mike to let him know.
“Sorry to interrupt you, but the scientist are ready for you now.” The lady says in a calming voice.
“Umm.... thanks!” Mike says in a very concerned look to his face.
With that, he gets up to his feet and walks towards the corridor, where he is being led by the lady to show him the main room of the laboratory. It was a long stretch from one door to the other, and the more he walks through, the more nervy the kid gets as he was getting closer to the door right in front of him.
When Mike reaches the main door, the lady opens it, letting the kid in to the main lab itself. That’s when he spotted the scientist and he came over as much as he was looking so nervous when he comes near and gives it a wave to let the man know he’s here.
“Umm... hello? My name’s Mike... errr you expected to see me, right?” Mike wondered nervously.
“Oh yes, Indeed Mike!” The scientist says as he would turn around and smiles at the boy. “I’m Dr Joh Summers, but you can just call me Dr Summers if you want? I see you’re in your special suit to make it extra fabric. It’s better safe than sorry perhaps.”
“Yeah... though I still don’t know why I’m here. That’s the question I wanna ask to be honest.” Of course Mike wanted to get straight to the point.
“Well I wouldn’t want to say this to you earlier, since this is a secret project we’re working on. But I can only tell you since you’re part of this, is because we’ve been assigned by the military to find a subject that can able to defend the county from incidents and monsters that keep on attacking constantly. That’s why we left little choice but to find you, so that you can be a secret weapon to stop these atrocities once and for all.” Dr Summers explained in every detail about this project, whilst looking to find a project to be used on.
“Wait, hold on! I’m just a little boy! There’s no way I’ll be able to do such a thing.” Mike had his points, which he was a lot worried even more when hearing why he was needed for this project.
“Ah, but we made a special plan!” Dr Summers smiled regardless, and is able to brought it out, letting a very hesitant boy see what project he had brought over?
