The round started for D.Va quite differently than the other two had. Instead of everyone rushing to try to take her down a notch the other players fled from her, hoping that they would be allowed to survive this round. D.Va, however, was not willing to oblige; they had gotten themselves into this mess with their sub-par skills, so they should be able to deal with the consequences. She idly blew a bubble and gunned down her first target, and a tiny spotlight lit up when he died, pointing out which unfortunate gamer died first.
From the desk the shrunken gamers had difficulty focusing on what they were doing. Not only were they fearful of their impending dooms, they kept stealing glances at the beautiful gamer above them, apparently paying them no mind. The thunderous boom every time she depressed a key and clicked the mouse certainly didn't help, and the giant pink cloud ballooning from her mouth drew all of their gazes. That is, until one of them got the spotlight put on him.
D.Va looked down at the unlucky man who, for what it mattered, was doing his best to escape. She, of course, had no intention of letting that happen, and lifted her hand from the mouse, moving it above him. Briefly she tracked his movements while he futilely ran, then extended her index finger. With honed accuracy she brought a white-gloved finger down on top of him, pinning him to the polished surface, and with a slight push smashed him flat under it.
Having squished the first loser D.Va got back into the game and started looking for her next target. Even though she was taking it easy on them now it didn't take long, causing the tiny gamer in her sights to let out a high-pitched squeak. He clumsily shot back at her a couple times, clearly distracted by not only his impending doom but also the fantastic giantess all around him, and in seconds he was in the spotlight too.
This one didn't even bother running, since he knew that there's no way he could outrun her reach. He swiftly found himself trapped between D.Va's thumb and forefinger and lifted out of his chair, his legs flailing wildly in the air. D.Va lifted him to her eyes and peered at him in her gloved grip, trying to make out the expression on his face. Not finding anything besides fear she squeezes her fingers together, squishing him in her hand, then returned to the game.
It wasn't long before she found her third target, hiding halfway inside a terrain glitch that D.Va knew all too well. Out of principle she raced toward him and burst through the bugged terrain, shocking the player who had been hoping to avoid her notice. D.Va heard a high-pitched yelp from him and watched his avatar frantically evade, but his panicked movements were no matched for her practiced skill, and very soon he, too, was in the spotlight.
D.Va was already reaching for him before he was even eliminated, and was able to snatch him up before his brain registered what had happened. Her fingertips met on the collar of his shirt, pulling him out of his chair and up towards her. She could hear him screaming in his high-pitched voice and watched his legs kick, but that didn't dissuade her at all. Soon the gamer was being held above D.Va's head, which she tilted back slightly and centered her prey over her open mouth. D.Va let go, dropping him in so that he landed against her gullet, and promptly swallowed him to raucous applause from the audience.
Before she could find another target, the match ended, leaving her with a kill count of three - still, three more than anyone else got. Leaving her hands where they were she leaned her face in toward the remaining gamers, bringing it within inches of them. She let out a giggle and said, "GG!" no doubt temporarily deafening them with her excited bellow.
To her surprise though all of the survivors, instead of clutching their ears, began to rapidly dwindle in front of her eyes. "That's the last round," the announcer declared, "and now it's up to our star D.Va to decide what the losers get!" Her eyes widened with surprise, then playfully narrowed again while she considered how to take them all out.
