Down the road from the city of Canterlot lied a place called Camp Everfree, surrounded by large forests. There, Canterlot High's principal had decided to take a group of her students to spend a week, doing everything one would expect from a camp, including rowing boats, baking cookies, gaining super-powers, and defeating a camp counselor possessed by powerful magic.
But we're not here to tell that story. Instead, we're going to look at another strange tale...
One night, Principal Celestia had decided to take a walk in the woods due to rumors about one of the camp counselors lurking there. She figured that it might just be one of the teens playing a prank on each other, but she still felt responsible to at least check. Unfortunately, she didn't remember the part of the woods she had found herself in, and thus found herself lost.
"Oh dear..." Celestia muttered to herself, naturally feeling uneasy about being in the woods at night. "Hello? Can someone help me?"
Celestia thought she heard murmuring around her, so she thought someone had come to give her a hand.
"Yes, I'm right here! Can you lead me back to the camp?"
"Quiet..." a voice muttered near her, which followed a noise like someone squishing wet clothes on the ground. "You woke me up..."
"Sorry about that..." Celestia said. "But you see, I did get lost and would like some help..."
"We'll help you in the morning. Now let us sleep!"
"Excuse me, but I don't think it would be too much trouble to- what the!?"
Celestia reached her hand out to grab whoever it was that spoke to her, only to touch something large and wet. She pulled her hand back in disgust, and saw that it was covered in what looked like a blue slime.
"This is, ugh, awful! What is this!?" Celestia said, trying to wipe the slime off her hand.
"That's my slime, and I like it the way it is!" the voice said, clearly offended.
"Your... slime?" Celestia said, confused.
"Hey, everyone, this lady doesn't like our slime!" the voice announced, which made other voices in the dark growl angrily. This only made Celestia worry. Just what was going to happen to her?
