This was getting absurd. The fridge was empty and her belly was filled to capacity yet her appetite had not been satiated. If anything, it only served to whet her appetite. Stopping was not an option. If she didn't stuff something into her mouth within the next six seconds, she was going to scream. If she was going to ever get back into a appropriate working mindset, she needed to eat. Rarity ran to the cupboards and flung them open with her magic. Her horn glowed and her eyes narrowed as boxes of cereal, sacks of flour, bags of sugar, and all sorts of baking ingredients were levitated towards her, torn open, and poured into her mouth.
This may not be dignified but manners were the least of her concerns. Let alone what Spike thought. When she finished, Rarity belched creme-colored plumes and desperately needed something to drink. She tossed the containers aside and went to the sink to drink from the faucet. The cool water doused her esophagus and quenched her thirst but her hunger remained like a persistent stain. Spike watched as her stomach swelled like a water balloon and reached down to her ankles. When Rarity stopped drinking, it was just inches off the ground but she hadn't noticed. Her predatory gaze revealed what was on her mind. With all the food gone, her only choice was to lick the empty bags and boxes clean.
"Rarity, this is getting out of hoof," Spike stated. "Maybe we should-"
PPFrrRRrrrrBLLLTTTtttTT!
The young dragon choked on his words the moment that Rarity farted in front of him. If that wasn't an indicator that the situation was escalating severely, Rarity sucking the empty flour sack into her maw and swallowing it whole was. The unicorn picked up the empty cereal box and tested tasting it next. She tore a chunk of cardboard off, mashed it up, and swallowed it whole. "BuurrRRAAAap! Not ideal but at least I don't have to run off to the market for snacks just yet." She devoured the rest of the box and the other empty containers.
Spike stood there slack-jawed as Rarity's standards dropped faster than a bowling bowl off a rooftop. The unicorn's horn glowed and the trash can floated over to her. Emptying its contents into her mouth and then shoved into Rarity's expansive mouth. Her throat bulged and a bin-shaped lump traveled down her throat and into her stomach. "I don't know why I thought throwing out this food was a good idea. It's still delectabUURRRRPP!" The next thing Rarity set her sights on was a framed painting of a field of flowers. Licking her lips, she trotted over, took it off the wall, and opened wide.
The last time Spike saw a creature unhinge their jaw like that was Fluttershy's pet python. Unable to watch this and worrying about Rarity's safety, he ran up and tugged on her tail. "Snap out of it, Rarity! This is crazy!"
