Set her on the table and talk about the magician

You sit her down standing up on the base of her neck, letting her hair fall around her on the table.
You both exchange names, you find out she is named Ellie.
"Nice place you've got here" she smiles, you nod your neck back in appreciation. "Sorry about this whole mess, losing your head and gaining mine to watch after".

"Its okay" you type, "As I said, you're a pretty cute head, I don't mind the trade off".

"Well if you say so" she laughs, "So did the magician steal your head too?". You nod your neck, telling her about how the magician showed up and took away your dormant head. "Wow, interesting to hear the full story. One moment she put her hands on my head and the next I woke up nothing more than a head in a room full heads, everyone was pretty startled" she shares.

You reach over and find a picture of yourself from when you possessed a head and show it to her. "OH! Is that your head?! I met him while we were waiting, We actually talked quite a bit waiting for the big night, what a coincidence you found me after my body abandoned me" she said, seeming even more at ease now. "I may have just met your head, but its nice to be in familiar hands, so to speak".

You ask her about her chat with your head and she shares, it was so weird hearing about your head on its own without you, though your head was somewhere now doing who knows what with who knows who. You two carry on chatting for the evening, learning what you can about each other. You both may have lost important parts, but now you made an amusing duo of headless man and bodiless woman. You even cook some dinner for her and help feed it to her.

As the night wraps up you prepare for bed. You ask her, "Okay, we should probably get to sleep, do you want me to make you a bed on my desk?".
She looks over to see the cleaned up desk with enough room for a pillow to easily fit her head and then back to you.
