You quickly run the sword through Michelle, slicing her lengthways. As you do so, she freezes in place.
When you look over at her, she still looks whole...until you see a faint line down the middle, separating her left and right sides. It's obviously only visible if you look really closely...perhaps even only to the wielder of the sword. You poke your finger into the line, and it separates a little. You quickly do it up again, taking care not to completely heal her.
What to do, you thought. Perhaps you could just leave the two halves of Michelle together and see how reality changes just by that. Or perhaps you could separate the two halves. Or maybe there's a third option...
