Cut her in half vertically

Both halves of Michelle were fast asleep on the floor. You picked up a fork and poked at her. She didn't respond. You checked both her arms for a pulse. Strangely enough, even the right side had a pulse, despite not having a heart.

You pressed the button on the hilt, and immediately, both halves got up. The left half continued her journey to the bathroom, whilst the right half turned to you.

"Um, didn't you say you were going to get me something to eat?'"
"Oh! Um, I forgot. Be back in a minute..."

You quickly went to the kitchen, got out a bottle of cola, then poured glasses for you and Michelle. You handed her her glass, and the two of you clinked them together. However, when she drank, half her drink spilled onto the linoleum, since the rim of the glass was obviously not designed for someone with half a mouth.

"Oops!" right-Michelle said, looking down at the carpet.
"It's okay...I'll just get a paper towel"

As you cleaned up the mess, left-Michelle entered the kitchen, and just rolled her eye.

"Dammit, right-me. I split from you to go to the bathroom for two minutes, and you make a mess that our boyfriend has to clean up"
"Sorry", right-Michelle said, sheepishly.

The two halves of Michelle joined back together.

"Okay, so did you have anything in mind for our date?"

You were tempted to tell Michelle about what you had done, as she seemed oblivious to the change. But you were curious to see her act as if her apparent ability to split in half was normal...
