Tsunade was about to tell her the punishment, whe she suddenly blinked confused as the mind wipe jutsu completey wore off her. She rubbed her temples having a brief large headache and used the healing jutsu on her head to soothe it. Tsunade then looked seeing Hinata there. "Hinata? What are you doing here? I don't have a mission for your team set right now." She also noticed the Anbu had cuffed her. "ANBU what are you doing?! She is the Heiress to the noble Hyuga Clan let her go now!"
The Anbu flinched at their leader's command nodding, and release Hinata from her binds. Sakura was scared as her technique had worn off much sooner than she expected and she could only cast it once on any person especially the Hokage herself. She knew Tsunade would be confused and worried about Naruto and if she found out it was all her doing just to get him out of her life she was fucked. But it was too late to try and talk her way out of this now.
Hinata explained to Tsunade what had happened and what Sakura had done.
Tsunade was absolutely livid at Sakura. "SAKURA!!!!" She unleashed ungodly amounts of her kage level chakra and KI. "You used a temporary memory sealing technique on me the Hokage and lied?! You made a fabricated story just to get Naruto-kun out of your life a kind young boy who would do anything for you?! That is treason you just committed Sakura, trying to manipulate the Hokage and trying to get a teammate who had done nothing to deserve it ruined of his life!"
The jutsu had also just worn off of Shizune who was equally upset at Sakura for her actions.
Tsunade than talks to Shizune and Hinata about an appropriate punishment for the pink haired kunoichi who was really scared this time that her actions had backfired on her greatly and so soon. Sakura was hoping that the jutsu would've lasted a bit longer and gave her more time to develop another backstory for why she did what she did but now she was screwed, fate had conspired against her as Neji would put it.
Tsunade looked at Sakura with great disappointment, she knew Sakura didn't like Naruto but to go as far as to use a memory blocking jutsu and lying about his actions to get him punished for doing nothing of the sort? Only a truly cruel and heartless person would do that to someone like Naruto. She kenw Sakura was lucky Kushina was dead if she had been alive, Kushina would've demanded Sakura's head as tribute. "Sakura…"
