There was a momentary look of absolute panic on Fleur's face, an expression that was pure Ronald Bilious Weasley.
"Y... You do... don't you 'Mione?" she asked, fear making her voice tremulous and uncertain.
Fighting down her jealousy, Hermione gave a curt nod. She didn't like this side to herself, the insecurity so near the surface, so quick to jab out. For all her intelligence, she was still unsure of herself. The sight of her friend... her boyfriend?... as a more attractive and confident woman was causing all kinds of confusing emotions.
A glance to Harry confirmed that he too was very unsure how to deal with this new Ron/Fleur hybrid.
"Eet is hard... " She fought to control her accent, and even Hermione felt the wash of Veela influence, that made Harry take a stumbling step towards Fleur/Ron. The passion, the focus, the intensity in his move the compulsion of the untamed Veela influence.
Only a hastily raised hand blocking the kiss that was aimed at her. The look once again was Ronald's look of disgust, fear, and panic, as she realised it was her lack of control that provoked Harry.
"Can vous... Can you 'Mione?" she gestured wildly. Fending Harry off with one hand, the other gesturing vaguely behind her for Hermione to cast the reversal spell.
