You sleep through the night undisturbed

You enjoy a night of uneventful sleep, the next morning, after a brief breakfast, you decide that the best thing to do is to ascend the mountain and try to get your bearings. You pack up your gear and start the long hike up the side of the mountain, after about twenty minutes of walking you start to encounter snow. "Odd I didn't think I was high enough on the mountain to start to see snow" you say to yourself, but as you look around you notice it was snowing all over the forest. You continued up the mountain, soon the snow started to become more intense as you continued hiking. At one point you had the feeling of being followed, but when you turned around there was no one around, finally after about a two hour hike you manage to reach a clearing in the mountain that allowed you to see for miles in all directions. You pull out your map and compass and attempt to find your location, but nothing seemed to match up, it was if the forest didn't exist.

Suddenly the sound of crunching snow grabbed you attention, you spin around and standing about ten feet away from you was a grey wolf that seemed to be checking you out. Just then you spot another wolf standing on a small ledge watching you, as you watched the two wolves you spot a third, then a fourth, before you knew it you had about eight wolves staring at you. "oh shit" you whisper to yourself as you yank on your rifle's charging handle and flick the selector switch to full auto. You were too busy watching the wolves that you failed to watch you footing because as you stepped backwards you took a tumble down the snow covered mountain, on reflex you pulled the trigger and let off three or four round harmlessly into the air. After falling for what felt like forever, you finally come to a rest on your back in some snow, you black out from your graceful fall and when you come to your find yourself.....
