Chapter #5Kylie's Father, the Multi-Billionaire by: Unknown Ted Westwood, age 45. Kylie decided to see what life would be like if she'd been the daughter of billionaire, maybe a Richard Branson type, extroverted and doing a lot of publicity stunts. Well-loved, or at least well-sucked-up-to.
There were pages of stats on him in the program. Kylie finally found "Net Worth," which was listed as "approx. $320,000." Ugh, he probably just had a cheap little house -- well, so did she, but her single mother wasn't exactly flush with cash.
She added zeroes until it read "approx. $32,000,000,000."
Once she clicked out of that, she saw that some of the other stats had changed and were highlighted in yellow -- weight had gone down, health issues had disappeared, and number of current girlfriends had gone all the way up from zero to one.
That didn't seem right for a Richard Branson type. He should have a girl in every city, thought Kyle -- no, wait, what about a harem? Yes, a bunch of girls living in his main house and at his beck and call, and he'd pick a few to go with him every time he traveled. She changed the number of girlfriends from 1 to 20, and then figured out how to use the program to specify their parameters -- various ethnicities, but all beautiful with above-average breasts, trained to be obedient, devoted to their Master.
Once she got that entered in, a number of other stats changed, from "average sexual experiences daily" (much higher) to "average stress level" (much lower). It all looked pretty good, and seemed to be just what she'd wanted in an absentee father.
She found the option that would cause reality to alter around her changes, with the program user the only one with awareness.
Even though she'd seen the program magically display pictures and information about herself and her mother, part of her didn't believe it would work as she clicked the mouse to make her changes to her father happen.
It worked. Her vision quickly faded to a gray, blurry, low-definition view of the world, and then a couple of seconds later, colors and sharpness returned.
But she was somewhere different, wearing something different.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
