"What the most advanced technology you know how to build" rick Asks

"Teleporters, replicators, sources of energy that can dwarf whole galaxies, warp drive. I you can imagine it I probably know how to do it, of course I'll have to teach you a few other things first, after all you cannot simply take sand from the beach and make a computer. You have to make all the steps, it you don't it would be treating you like pets," explaines the spider.

"Seems like my university is a good place for you to start teaching all the stuff. Lots of people are really scared of spiders so I'll put off going public about you until we've out some things to show that your a good guy. I'll bring you there in my toolbox," rick says as the spider hides in the toolbox.

Rick then walks out the temple. The murals have changed to encouraging scene of the giant spider filled future.

As rick crosses the treshold the spider says something "I should bring my ship with me, it can do almost anything now its charged up. It should come in handly." The ship they folds itself up into a backpack that the spider wears.

You then make your way to the university.

...

"We're going to speak to my supervisor first," says Rick "he's expecting me to give my first impressions of what I found, tell him if it will need a full experdition etc. etc. He's always be interested in the idea of Alien cultures, that's part of what got him interested in archaeology."

Rick knocked on Professor Lawerence Pennyweather door and was invited in.

"So rick, find anything interesting down there," asks Lawerence.

"It will be easier if I show you," Rick opens the toolbox and the spider comes out.

"Hi" says the spider waving at the human. As this happens it has slowly began to grow. It has now past 3 inches across.

The professor spends the next few minutes checking it is really a talking spider. He even talks to it a bit without rick in the room. He is convinced. By the end of that the spider is a whole foot across.

"How as you growing so fast" asks the Professor

"I draw my power from the seperate universe that ever sapient being creates by the mere processes of thought. Every time someone thinks well of me it strengths a connection between us letting me grow stuff a little bit bigger," technobabbles the spider.

"So are there other ways to draw resources from this thought universes, or to but things in them" enquires the professor having already thought of dozens of uses for this.

"Yes, but it will require 7 addtional paradigm shifts in your interpretation of physics before you will be able to even design the technology to do it," agrees the spider.

They then talk until late about what the spider is, where it came from, and what it will be able to do. The spider is then told about some places it can help. The spider has slowly and steadily grew though the whole process and it now 4 feet across. The professor is now also convinced the spider must grow much much bigger as fast they can without inducing panic before the spider is big enough to fix it, they decided to introduce the spider to more people.
