Chapter #5

Growth temporarily but in a corner

    by: Redstreak Author IconMail Icon
Your still stocked by a spider just growing like that an your reaction all slowly way down. It keeps coming towards you, it doesn't look like its hunting you, it not moving at full speed and surely it would go at you from behind all when you were asleep or something. You reassure yourself, its only 2 inches across, your about a million times its mass, it can't possibly hurt you and it would be make no sense for it to try.

A thought then strikes you "unless it grows again, it grew once what's to stop it growing again and again and AGAIN and AGAIN. What if it grew to a foot tall, ten feet, a hundred. What if it taught other spider how to grow," you then imagine a world of Kaiju spiders.

You are so distracted you barely notice its almost reached you. You jump back suddenly and dramatically, it this and happened during the Olympics you'd have probably won your country a medal. The spider stops advancing, did it just salute you.

It when retracts a safety line and wheels itself in back to the walls, where it had a web. It gets to work making a bigger web.

Its in the corner, you think you can handle that, as long as it doesn't grow again.

But...

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. The spider has figured out your touch makes it grow

2. Your shedded skin and whatnot are enough to make it grow

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
