Breathing heavily, Vanessa held back tears. Aside from the discovery that magic- actually impossible, unexplainable phenonmenon- was real, she was being confronted with the stark reality of her own newly stark reality. Even with no one in the room, Vanessa had her hands firmly clasped over her chest and groin, trying to cover and comfort herself in the face of this naked nightmare.
Her breath slowing, Vanessa slumped down onto her bed, facing up to the ceiling with her eyes shut.
Panicking isn't going to help, Vanessa thought, though she didn't think she'd be able to convince herself if she had said it out loud. Trying to think as calmly as she could, Vanessa stood up, and started to pace.
Vanessa was sure she that the shopkeeper would be able to help. At the very least, Vanessa might get to give him a piece of her mind! The problem was, of course, getting there. She wasn't about to leave the house bare naked. Glancing over to her phone, Vanessa was sure she could get a friend to help, someone to act on her behalf. And it wasn't as if she couldn't convince someone of what was happening; though she wasn't sure if she wanted to waste any more of her dwindling wardrobe on a demonstration...
Of course, it wasn't like she didn't have a decent amount of clothes left. Truth be told, as long as she still had at least one outfit, she'd give up everything else just to be able to wear it. So, with her surplus stock, there's no reason she couldn't approach the problem with a little more experimentation...
