A look of confusion on her face, Ash inquires "Huh? What are you talking about Jason, I've always been like this."
At first you can only blink, a little confused yourself, before you realize what must have happened. Slapping your forehead at your own forgetfulness, you explain "Sorry Ash, I forgot that reality would change for you too if you're not holding onto the katana when I press the button. That's why you aren't able to notice anything different."
Looking a bit skeptical, Ashley asks "You sure about that Jason? Cause I really don't remember ever being any other way."
Nodding you answer "Positive. Seriously Ash, which seems more likely, that the sword, one that you've already seen for yourself has the power to change reality altered your memories, or that you just happened to have been born with a perfect pair of armless shoulders and for some weird reason I've decided to screw around with you and try and sell you a story no same person would ever believe about having just made your arms vanish?"
Looking at you curiously for a moment, Ash replies "Honestly? their both really out there. I think I believe you though since you did tell me about this before hand."
"Great. So, now that you know, ready to have your arms restored?" you asked.
