This choice: Lure Trevorina toward the wolves • Go Back...Chapter #10Lure Trevorina toward the wolves by: knuckles While you'd focused on the wolf and her two cubs, you now recognize that these creatures could go from world destroyers, to allies. Well, honestly they'd be equal opportunity. They'd gone towards the tree you recognized overwhelming your home, before plopping themselves down, uninterested in your fight with Trevorina.
She roared forward, you parried her charge. She seemed more cautious, possibly due to her children. You back up slowly, in the distance is the wolf, her children feeding. You also notice their location likely covers your house. Those stupid creatures!!!
You fall back, parrying blow after blow. Trevorina wants to sink her teeth into you. To feed her babies. No...no, you wouldn't be food for some baby spiders.
You lead Trevorina towards your home. You glance back. The wolf has enveloped it, and the pups currently bury your home under their mass. The hatch is under them, no way in unless they move. So it's up to you. Trevorina charges again, her forearm strikes your left, you jab in retaliation. You draw blood and the beast screams in anger.
You run, your plan may be dumb, but at least you have one. You reach her back paw, its mass looms above you. At heights you can't fathom, the wolfess looks down at you. She's feeding her children, and you are a weird bug to her. She watches you as you turn to face Trevorina. Trevorina strikes at you. You parry, and you begin backing towards the wolf. You reach her paw pads, they loom over you and your suit picks up the earthy stench of her walking over the earth below.
The previously disinterested wolfess suddenly awakens to the battle and the spider at her rear paws. She doesn't care for spiders, they sting and they hurt. She didn't care about the weird insect she'd come across. It was harmless. But now, a wolf spider was at her paw. She had no intention on letting it anywhere near her or her pups. With a casual jerk, almost unnoticeable to the larger world, she kicks at the paw sized spider. It went flying. the little critter that smelled odd was also blown back, but it seemed fine. The wolf cared little, it was just an annoyance. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
