This choice: Her older sister, who bumps the table and Laura falls into her purse. • Go Back...Chapter #5Speck's Day Out by: Unknown Laura quickly realized that the mysterious and gigantic figure was her older sister Andrea. She had long brown, wavy hair that went down past her shoulders, was pretty tall at 6'1", had beautiful blue eyes like her mother, and was a sophomore in college. She was wearing a nice-looking tank top, blue jeans, and sandals, due to it being a nice spring morning. She regularly came to visit whenever she could, and was a role model to Laura of sorts.
She was currently excitedly talking on the phone with her friends. "THIS IS IT, LADIES! IT'S FINALLY THE DAY WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" Laura first pressed her hands over her ears tightly to avoid being deafened. Then she realized what Andrea was talking about. Today was Saturday, the first day of Andrea's spring break, and Andrea and her friends had been planning since December for an amazing week. They had tons of fun activities planned for just about each day, and she had promised Laura she could finally come with them this year, now that she was 16. As such, she had been waiting excitedly for it since forever. She wanted to go so badly, but that would be hard if Andrea couldn't even see her.
"I'M CURRENTLY AT MY HOUSE PICKING UP LAURA. YES, THAT LAURA. I'LL BE OUT IN FIVE." With this, she pulled her ear away from the phone and loudly called, "LAURA! WHERE ARE YOU?" Then she strode by the table Laura was on (nearly blowing the tiny teen away with the strong wind this movement created) and noticed Laura's clothes on the bed from when she had shrunk out of them. She then spoke into the phone, "CHANGE OF PLANS, I CAN'T FIND HER. SHE MUST BE SHOWERING OR SOMETHING. WE'LL JUST GO WITHOUT HER." "Hey, no fair! You promised!" Laura whined, obviously disappointed that she wasn't going.
Then Andrea turned around and began to quickly run out of the room. While doing so, she accidentally ran into Laura's table. This caused a huge and short but effective earthquake to Laura's perspective, making Andrea drop her purse (spilling her belongings) and sending Laura up high into the air. She was too surprised to even scream, until she realized she was so small, she just floated in the air. The tiny speck eventually landed inside the colossal pit of Andrea's purse, seemingly big enough to hold an ocean. She landed in the soft fabric inside, but before she could do anything, she heard a "WHOOPS!" from her goddess of a sister, and watched in horror as Andrea quickly piled many different things on top of her, from her makeup case to her wallet. She was too small to be crushed, of course, but then Andrea zipped up her purse and lifted it many, many miles up into the sky, and strode out of the room.
Looks like Laura was going, after all...

"Whoops!" Andrea said, knocking into her sister's table and spilling all her belongings. She quickly crammed them all in there, zipped it up, and strode out of the house. She felt bad about leaving Laura behind, but she was in a hurry, she reminded herself. She could go and do something else with her younger sister later. The young woman then spoke in her phone, "Girls, I just found out that the first two things we can do today are go to the mall for some shopping, or go to the movies to see that one R-rated film that's coming out today. What do you think?" After hearing their response, she said she'd meet them there, go in her car, and began driving to... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
