She picks up the transposer and turns the dial as far as it can go to the enlarge side. She then hands you the gun and says, "I want you to shoot me with it when I say. After you do so, set the matter transposer down on the table right in front of you and wait by the door. If anything happens that makes you feel like your life is being threatened, I want you to leave this room and run. If the threat becomes so large that this whole building must be evacuated, pull the fire alarm right outside this room."
She then turns around, picks up a clipboard, and begins to write on it. You look at the gun and see for yourself just how far it is set to enlarge. A million thoughts begin to run through your head.
