This choice: Within five months, the situation has turned drastically sour for men. • Go Back... Five months passed since the order was given to shrink all men. Society had changed, and you had to adapt to these new guidelines in order to remain a normal sized person. The matter transposer was your only weapon to defend against the shrinking of the masses, as in one instance, a female cop had shrunk you, the only way you escaped was by hiding in a mouse hole and growing back later with the gun you had stolen.
The country initially viewed shrunken males as their former selves, wanting to believe that the this new reality was simply temporary, and eventually the tiny men would be resized back to normal height. However it soon became clear when after a month in session with no male members, congress passed a bill which deemed men now inhuman.
This first lead to protest, with bands of women and tiny men accompanying them showing up to government buildings to try and storm them in uproar. However these protests were easily quenched, as the riot policewomen armed with transposers shrunk any woman attempting to break to line of protest, and tiny men being flattened under their combat boots, or even in some circumstances thrown into the mouths of policewomen to be eaten.
The media made the next big push, as even after their initial support for shrunken men they were intimidated into submission by the government's threats of shrinking any opposition to their policies. Shrunken men were viewed as nothing more than objects in movies and television, and soon enough the internet was even influenced by the policy. There was a viral challenge on the internet at one point, called 'Try a Taste' which encouraged women to film themselves eating a tiny man for the first time. Many to their surprise enjoyed the flavor, and filmed follow ups with their further exploits in tasting tiny men.
This lead you to now, where men were viewed as nothing more than objects by the general population. Even if they didn't share that thought, they kept it to themselves, purely out of fear that they themselves would be shrunk for disagreeing with the government's stance, or how they worded it 'Suspicion Of Harboring Shrinks'. Women kept former loved ones in cages, treating them like pets, and those were the lucky ones. The world had truly changed, and all in the span of five months.
You had been on the run, sometimes harbored by a kindhearted woman, but more often then not they either grew out of their kindness and tried to report you, or were caught and shrunk themselves, taken away to who knows where. Currently you were  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
