Adam decided to shapeshift back into himself and close the door. He started looking around for interesting things to transform into, he saw some dirty clothes lying on the floor, a dirty plate and fork on a table, probably from something Vicky ate and left there. A few seconds later he heard someone approaching the room, so he quickly threw the fork that was on the table out of the window and transformed into one just like it.
The door slowly opened and Vicky's mother walked into the room. "How many times have I told Vicky to leave dirty dishes in the kitchen?"
Vicky's mother sighed as she gathered up the plates and carried them slowly to the kitchen.
Adam was relieved, he didn't think about Vicky's mother being home, now all he had to do was wait for hem to leave him in the kitchen and try to escape by transforming into something else.
Vicky's mother put the dishes in the sink and started washing them by hand.
Adam felt Vicky's mother's soapy hands pick him up and scrubbing him with the kitchen sponge.
After a while, Adam was placed next to other soaked forks, spoons, and knives.
"Done, now I just have to let them dry, maybe I should start making lunch." Vicky's mother said as she opened the refrigerator.
She pulled out a bowl full of tomatoes and onions, and placed it near where Adam was and walked towards the refrigerator again.
Adam, without hearing what Vicky's mother said, thought it was the perfect opportunity to escape, first he transformed into a small fly, but his wings were wet and he couldn't fly.
Adam quickly worried about his current situation since he didn't wanted to be crushed or something, so quickly taking advantage of what Vicky's mother had just brought, he transformed into a tomato and waited.
