Laura and Steve were huddled together in fear inside of the cage. They were like animals on display at a zoo.
"What will become of us Steve," asked Laura with tear filled eyes.
"I don't know, but there is no way out of this thing."
Steve tried rattling the lock but it was no use they were locked in tight. They watched as more and more dwarfs came into the area. Heeshe approached the cage and told them they would soon be moved to where the others were.
"What others?"questioned Steve.
"Those like you who plan to bring harm to us and our home and change our way of life," Said Heeshe.
soon two other dwarfs came up to the cage and started taunting the two of them. trying to frighten them telling them awful things they had plans to do to them.
Laura was crying profusely while Steve tried his best to comfort her. The dwarfs just laughed their sinister laughs. "We have birds that will peck your eyes right out of your head", said one of the dwarfs. Steve screamed for Heeshe to please rid them of these two dwarfs. Heeshe being the leader of them came to the cage he looked at the two dwarfs and asked what were they doing? "We are just playing around having a little fun, I would like to take that little one , the woman, and bring her to the chamber." said the larger of the two dwarfs. "You will do no such thing," shouted Heeshe,
"These are my humans and I will take care of them my way."
Heeshe commanded the dwarfs to take the two to the camp where the others were and they did as they were told although the larger dwarf did so reluctantly.
He really wanted a hold of the woman. The tied their hands behind their back and tied Laura's leg to Steve's leg like they were running a three legged race. This way the two could not escape. They walked for over two miles until they came to a thatch hut and a fence made of pure bamboo, When they entered they saw there were several thatch huts and then a metal gate with barbed wire all around it. they were taken in through the barbed wire gate, the fence must have been ten feet tall or twelve even. they were told by the dwarfs that if they touched the fence they would be electrocuted. when inside the gate they were left there.
the dwarfs left and locked the gate they saw no one to start with, they just stood there with their hands tied behind them. Then they heard talking coming from one of the huts, so they walked toward the sounds. when they arrived there they peeked inside the hut and saw other humans like themselves.
