Arcee had just left on a mission to search for more Energon on another planet. She had intel that a abandon research facility was there that was rumored to have found a way to make synthetic Energon for femme transformers. While wandering around the planet she had found the research facility. She broke the entrance down and continued to search the facility for Energon. While searching she wandered why it was abandoned in the first place while searching room to room. Soon she finally made her way to the lab where to her astonishment to find vats of vats of Energon. But not just Energon, Pink Energon.
