We caught up with Eragon and Brom easily, and Saphira made sure to be high in the sky... so high that we did seem like birds... I am just glad she is warm so that it isn't that bad up here. I pet her neck as we flew...
Once they stopped we landed near them... They weren't able to start a fire... so fruit and bread was all that we could eat. We fell asleep...
The next day we woke and well... I was once again put on her back...
We agreed to just keep up with them as it would raise question if we went to far from her rider.
We were flying as I saw the storm clouds coming, 'Uh, Saphira. I think that we should land.'
She looked to the clouds I was looking at. 'Agreed.' She replied.
She made her way to the ground and landed... It was there that we heard a voice..'Saphira! land!'
I shook my head, and Saphira replied, 'I already landed.' She said...
I looked back and saw them on the horses... I looked ahead... oh boy. I closed my eyes as the wind and rain hit... If she hadn't braced for it I think that we would have been flung up. I lay on her neck and hold on... Once Eragon and Brom came I yelled to Eragon, "Hey you want to ride her, she will only be walking..."
Eragon started shaking his head. Saphira spoke to him, 'Look you are my rider, so why are you not riding me?'
He sighed then got off Cadoc. I got off Saphira and walked to Cadoc while Eragon got to Saphira's side and climbed on.
You mounted Cadoc... Not having ever rode a horse... you only clutched to it... and the saddle... Brom laughed and showed you the reigns that he had. You grabbed Cadoc's and started pulling a little and found that Cadoc responded to them... You made him move by gently kicking his sides... you soon got the hang of it... though it was the middle of a rain so it wasn't that good... but the three of you made progress...
It was some hours later that the rain slowed to a stop... as the three of you stopped the rain did too.
Saphira roared in greeting of the dusking sun...
The horses skittered from her but the three of you smiled at her jubilance.
