Once I was free, I thought about pouncing on him for his stupidity... but he let me go, because he saw I was afraid. I got to my feet, then walked to him. He tripped and fell. I sped up and caught him before he could hit the ground. I help him to his feet then I carefully rub against him, I purr unintentionally.
"Okay, I find a dragon I can't kill. I let it go, it follows me and catches me before I can fall down, now its rubbing against me..um." He starts to pet me, I purr even more, I laid down, enjoying the attentions.
"Your like a cat."
I snort then shake him off. I nuzzle him then look around, oh dang I can talk with him.

"Astrid? She was kidnapped during the raid, but...no, you're astrid?"
I nodded and nuzzled against him. He is stunned but my nuzzling makes him slowly rub my head. I purr some more.
"Um... we can't take you back to the village, they will kill you...Um we have to find you a place to live."
I follow him as we walk through the forest. I ignore the dull ache in my tail.
