He not exactly searches per say after all he's either unaware or too young to fully grasp everything but Kouta does explore some more or possibly play a bit innocently unaware of any of the following-
His size changes
His predicament
That the damage he did was real and his actual caretakers aka the aliens slaves had to fix all later.
That his size changes could be temporary or that he was being watched.
To him it was all innocent playtime or curiousity
Kouta now 50 foot tall continues to look around slightly damaging the pavement.
A few blocks away his foot comes down shockingly on an old fashioned phone booth.
This phone booth was no ordinary booth tho as evident by the sign next to it.
As the booth burst apart underneath was another golden pressure plate not unlike the 1st one Kouta had encountered.
The sign read "GROW RAY 3 X"
The pressure sensor was triggered and Kouta had barely a moment to react.
The ray shot out and zapped him surrounding his body then there was another flash like before.
Seconds later Kouta now stood 200 feet tall his foot still on the pressure plate the sign of to the side snapped in two.
Kouta looked around again confused but mostly curious.
Unlike the less powerful ray this one needed slightly more recharge time but 2 minutes later it recharges and zaps Kouta again. Like before it had no visible effects but unknowingly increased the time at which he'd remained 200 feet tall assuming no more ray encounters.
Finally Kouta moved his foot off the sensor. Next...
