"What the hell was that?" Natalie asked another female crew member who was exiting the sick bay nearby.
The woman just frowned. "What was what, Kelly?"
"That... thing that just got in the elevator." she pointed in the vague direction Garrus had walked.
The woman was just perplexed. "You know who Garrus is, he's the only Turian on the ship." she told Natalie.
"Turian??" Natalie sighed, totally lost. "You know what, never mind, I'll figure it out on my own." she said, rubbing her forehead.
"Maybe you should see Doctor Chakwas if you're not feeling well Kelly. What a lot of us went through at the hands of the Collectors is bound to leave it's mark on anyone, seeing innocent people liquified like that. Sickening." the woman suggested.
Liquified? People? Natalie shook her head. But the idea of a doctor sounded good. At the very least she could give her a sedative and knock her out. Then hopefully she'd wake up from this nightmare. "Thanks, the doctor sounds like a good idea." Natalie forced out a smile, then headed towards the sick bay. The automatic door opened up and she walked inside. There was only one other person in the room, an older woman with grey hair and a slightly different... and more form fitting uniform. And the one thing Natalie immediately noticed, is the woman looked as puzzled as she was. "Er... Doctor... Chakwas?" Natalie mumbled, successfully remembering her name.
"Hmm, oh... can I - help you?" The doctor frowned, fidgeting from one foot to the other.
"I certainly hope so." Natalie nodded. "How can I put this? Um... I feel like I don't belong here. In fact... I DON'T belong here." she blurted out
Doctor Chakwas took a seat, continuing to stare up at the young woman who had entered 'her' sick bay. "Go on..." she mumbled.
Natalie let out another sigh and then started pacing the room, wondering what to say. And it was then that she caught sight of her reflection in a mirror. It was the reflection of a woman she didn't know. Whose body was she in? How did this happen? The questions raced through Natalie's mind as she reached up to touch her face and then run her hands down her body.
Seeing the odd behavior of the woman in front of her, Doctor Chakwas spoke again. "Who are you?"
Natalie drew her gaze from the mirror and looked at the doctor in disbelief. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." she murmured.
"You might be surprised." the doctor responded, arching an eyebrow.
