"Yeah, I suppose that makes sense..."
Apollo nodded. The first thing he and Phoenix needed to do was get themselves off of the lobby floor. From here, the best way to do that was to approach one of the three massive pairs of boots resting on the floor ahead. If they could climb up a fair distance, they could hitch a ride with someone. Athena wasn't too far off, and as weird a thing as it was to consider, her leggings seemed like the best choice they had. The fabric would be much easier to clamber upward on than Trucy's bare skin. It was true that Franziska was closer to them than Athena, but Apollo didn't feel especially confident about approaching the intimidating veteran prosecutor compared with his friendly co-worker.
They got moving, running across the flat stretch of floor until they reached the heel section of Athena's right boot. Her footwear alone was massive, so the task ahead of them seemed unbelievably daunting, now that they were up so close.
"We've got to climb all the way up there...?"
There wasn't anything else for it. After circling around to the toe section of Athena's huge boot, and giving Apollo a boost off the floor, Phoenix helped him up onto the base of the boot, then clambered up for himself with some help in return.
It was terrifying to imagine how easily a piece of footwear this colossal could stamp them out of existence. Athena probably wouldn't even notice she'd stepped on anything...
"OK, same thing..." Phoenix said. He braced himself, his front pressing to the toe of Athena's boot, and he helped Apollo upward again.
"Hopefully Athena doesn't need to jump up and run anywhere..."
The conversation going on between Athena, Trucy, and Franziska high above them was hard to follow, and the two shrunken lawyers had more or less stopped trying.
Apollo reached downward, lying on his front, and took a grip on both of Phoenix's wrists, helping him drag himself upward next.
They were resting on top of the boot's toe area now, a gradually-steepening slope leading up to the pillar of Athena's ankle. It was fortunate that her favourite boots just had a zipper running down the front, so her two new passengers wouldn't have to make their way past any laces, or similar obstructions.
Looking upward again, they found that the next step in their journey for aid made them both want to fall over and give up.
From Athena's boot and ankle, all the way up to her knee, her muscular leg stood over them like a particularly toned, violet-clad skyscraper. There was no way they could possibly hope to climb up so high before Athena stood up from this spot, unless the trio towering over them was planning an hour-long discussion.
"This isn't gonna work..."
