Some time later, Jia awoke to the sound of draining water. The unbirthing pod was draining and her umbilicus had just detached from her bellybutton. The door to the pod soon opened. Naked little Jia and Hannah soon tumbled out of the pod onto the soft, damp floor below. Both of them spat up pod fluid and Jia even peed a little.
"You two ready to go back to class?" Mrs. Smith said.
Hannah nodded. Jia only groaned.
"All right. Let's go." Mrs. Smith said.
She quickly got out some diapers, but not normal white ones like before. No, you and Hannah would have to wear humiliating green diapers. When kids were bad the teachers made them wear green diapers, which meant the other kids would know they were in trouble. Mrs. Smith quickly dried all the unbirthing fluid off of Hannah's body, powdered her, and got her into a fresh green diaper. Hannah hung her head in shame, knowing she was a bad kid today. Worse still, Mrs. Smith did not let her have her dress back, making the brown-haired little girl go around in only her diaper. This wasn't unusual for her, though. Plenty of kids at Diaper elementary went around like that to make quick diaper changes and checks easier.
Mrs. Smith moved on to Jia, still laying on the ground, feeling very weak and tired out. The unbirthing pods tended to take a lot of energy out of her.
